TL;DR: Schedulee now auto-generates Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom links for every booking. Connect your account in 30 seconds, set your preferred provider per meeting type, and every new booking gets a join link. Available on all plans including free.

We just shipped support for all three major video conferencing platforms: Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Every booking on Schedulee can now include an auto-generated meeting link — no copy-pasting, no extra steps.

Here's how it works and why it matters.

The Problem

You set up a scheduling link. Someone books a meeting. Then what? Either you manually create a video call and send the link, or you hope your scheduling tool handles it for you.

Most tools support one or two providers. If your team uses Teams but your scheduling tool only generates Meet links, you're stuck with workarounds. We wanted to fix that.

How It Works

Setup takes about 30 seconds:

  1. Connect your account — Go to your Apps dashboard and connect Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or Zoom
  2. Set your preferred provider — Choose which video platform to use for each meeting type
  3. Done — Every new booking gets a meeting link from your chosen provider

Your invitees don't need to do anything. They book a time, get a confirmation email with a join link, and click it when the meeting starts. No account required on their end.

Google Meet

Google Meet links are created through the Google Calendar API. When someone books a meeting, Schedulee creates a Google Calendar event with a Meet conference attached. This is the tightest integration of the three — the meeting link lives inside the calendar event itself, so it shows up everywhere your calendar does.

To connect: Link your Google Calendar in the Apps dashboard. Meet gets enabled when Calendar is connected.

Microsoft Teams

Teams meeting links are created through the Outlook Calendar integration. When a booking is confirmed, Schedulee creates an Outlook calendar event with isOnlineMeeting enabled, which generates a native Teams meeting link. The Teams link behaves exactly like one you'd create from Outlook or Teams directly — full lobby controls, meeting options, and recording support.

To connect: Link your Microsoft Outlook calendar in the Apps dashboard. Teams gets enabled when Outlook is connected.

Zoom

Zoom uses a separate OAuth connection. When you connect your Zoom account, Schedulee creates meetings via the Zoom API directly. Each booking gets a unique Zoom meeting with its own join link, passcode, and waiting room settings inherited from your Zoom account defaults.

To connect: Click "Connect" next to Zoom in the Apps dashboard and authorize via OAuth. Zoom works independently of your calendar provider.

Why This Matters

For hosts: You pick the platform your team already uses. No more defaulting to whatever your scheduling tool supports. Sales teams on Zoom, internal teams on Teams, consultants on Meet — everyone gets their preferred tool.

For invitees: They don't have to think about which video tool to use. They book a time, get a link, and join. No downloads, no account creation, no confusion.

For admins: Different meeting types can use different providers. Your sales team's demo calls can use Zoom while internal syncs use Teams. Set it once per meeting type and forget about it. What's Next

We're building out more integrations. Calendar sync with Google and Outlook already prevents double-booking across all your calendars. Frequently Asked Questions

Does Schedulee support Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams?

Yep, all three. Connect your account in the Apps dashboard and every new booking gets a meeting link from your chosen provider. Your invitees just click to join — they don't need an account.

How do I set up video conferencing in Schedulee?

Head to your Apps dashboard. Connect Google Calendar (for Meet), Microsoft Outlook (for Teams), or Zoom (separate OAuth). Pick your preferred provider per meeting type. Takes about 30 seconds, and every new booking gets a join link after that.

Can different meeting types use different video providers?

Yes. Each meeting type can use a different video platform. Sales demos on Zoom, internal syncs on Teams — whatever you need. Set it once per meeting type and you're done.

Is video conferencing included in Schedulee's free plan?

Yes. Google Meet, Teams, and Zoom are all available on every plan, including free. No feature gates, no upsells.

Do invitees need a Zoom or Teams account to join?

No. They get a join link in their confirmation email and can click to join directly. Google Meet and Zoom both support browser-based joining without an account. Teams meetings include lobby controls and work with the Teams web client.
