Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Schedulee, from pricing and features to security and integrations.

General

A scheduling tool lets people book meetings with you by sharing a link instead of trading emails. It shows your real-time availability, prevents double-booking by syncing with your calendar, and automatically handles timezone conversion so every participant sees the correct local time.

Schedulee offers the most generous free tier in 2026 with unlimited event types, calendar sync, timezone detection, and team scheduling included at no cost. Unlike competitors that lock core features behind paywalls, Schedulee gives small teams everything they need to start booking meetings immediately.

Yes, you can switch from Calendly to Schedulee. While there is no automated import tool, setting up your event types and availability in Schedulee takes just a few minutes. You can recreate your meeting types and share your new booking links right away.

Schedulee is a fully responsive web app that works great on any mobile browser. You can add it to your home screen on iOS or Android for an app-like experience.

Pricing

Schedulee starts free with unlimited event types and one calendar connection. Paid plans start at $5 per month for Solo Pro, which adds unlimited calendars, buffer times, reminders, and custom branding. Team plans include Starter at $29/mo for up to 5 users, Professional at $69/mo for up to 20 users, Business at $119/mo for up to 100 users, and Enterprise at $299/mo for up to 500 users.

Per-seat pricing charges you for every user on your account, so costs scale linearly as your team grows. A tool at $15 per seat costs $750 per month for a 50-person team. Schedulee uses flat-rate pricing instead, so your bill stays predictable regardless of team size.

Learn why per-seat pricing is costing you more than you think

Flat-rate pricing means you pay one fixed monthly fee for your entire organization, no matter how many team members use the platform. This model eliminates the painful math of per-seat costs and removes the temptation to restrict access to save money.

Features

Round-robin scheduling automatically distributes incoming bookings across your team members based on availability and fairness weighting. Schedulee tracks each member's booking count and assigns the next meeting to whoever has the fewest, ensuring an even workload distribution.

Set up round-robin scheduling in 5 minutes

Collective scheduling finds time slots where all required team members are simultaneously available. Unlike round-robin which assigns one host, collective meetings ensure every participant can attend. This is ideal for panel interviews, group demos, and committee reviews.

Learn how to configure collective scheduling

Create a workspace, invite your team members, and configure a meeting type with either round-robin or collective scheduling. Set each member's availability windows, assign fairness weights if needed, and share the booking link. The entire setup takes about five minutes.

Schedulee connects to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook via OAuth, reading your busy times in real time to prevent double-booking. You can choose which calendars to check, and new bookings are automatically added to your calendar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom links included.

Buffer times add padding before or after each meeting so you never have back-to-back bookings. Set a 15-minute buffer after calls to take notes, or a 10-minute buffer before to prepare. Buffers apply automatically to every booking on that event type.

Date overrides let you change your availability for specific dates without altering your regular weekly schedule. Use them to block off holidays, add extra hours on a busy week, or open special time slots for events. Overrides always take priority over your recurring schedule.

Schedulee automatically detects each visitor's timezone using their browser settings and displays all available times in their local timezone. The host's schedule is stored timezone-independently using minutes-since-midnight, so availability is always calculated correctly across any timezone pair.

Schedulee integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook for two-way calendar sync, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom for automatic video conferencing links, Stripe for payment collection on paid bookings, webhooks for real-time event notifications, and AWS SES for transactional emails.

Schedulee supports Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Connect your preferred provider in the Apps dashboard and every booking automatically gets a meeting link. Google Meet links are created via the Google Calendar API, Teams links via Outlook Calendar, and Zoom links via a separate OAuth connection.

Meeting links are generated automatically when a booking is confirmed. Just connect your preferred video provider — Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom — in the Apps dashboard, and every new booking includes a join link in the confirmation email and calendar event.

No. Invitees simply click the join link in their confirmation email or calendar event. Zoom, Teams, and Meet all allow guests to join meetings via a browser without creating an account or installing software.

Yes. Schedulee maintains a detailed audit log of all actions within each workspace, including booking creation, cancellation, rescheduling, team changes, and settings modifications. The audit log is visible to workspace owners and admins, making it suitable for organizations that require activity tracking and accountability.

Yes. Schedulee provides an embed code you can add to any webpage. Visitors can book meetings directly from your site without navigating away. Configure the embed in your dashboard under the Embed section.

Technical

Schedulee is built on HIPAA-eligible AWS infrastructure with AES-256 encryption at rest (AWS KMS), TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, and detailed audit logging visible to workspace admins. All scheduling data is stored in encrypted databases with strict access controls. Important: while Schedulee itself is HIPAA compliant, third-party services used for email delivery (AWS SES), calendar sync (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook), and video conferencing (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) are governed by their own compliance policies. Healthcare organizations should review those providers independently and execute BAAs where required.

Schedulee includes an AI chat assistant that helps you manage your scheduling tasks. You can ask questions, run tasks, and get help with your calendar — but it is user-prompted, not automatic. The AI does not suggest meeting times on its own; it responds to your requests.

Yes, Schedulee has a built-in AI assistant you can chat with in the dashboard. Ask it to help create meeting types, check your upcoming bookings, or manage your schedule. It responds to your prompts — it does not automatically schedule meetings or suggest times without being asked.

All data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 via AWS KMS. All data in transit uses TLS 1.2+. OAuth tokens for connected calendar and video accounts are encrypted with a separate application-level encryption key before storage. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
